Stott Pilates is a precise and methodical approach to building core strength from the inside out. Stott’s 5 basic principles are the foundation of their method, in which basic ballet concepts are superimposed on strength moves at all joints. Repetition of movement is key to building consistent connections between the client’s brain and body. Each and EVERY session commences with the participant’s feet in “first position”. For those who have danced, this is a no-brainer, for the rest of us, our feet are positioned with our heels together and toes apart. And with a deep breath in, the journey begins!
